Weekly standards check-in template
Purpose: Use this template during 1:1 meetings between managers (e.g., Head of Delivery, Service Lead, CSO) and their reports. It maps directly to the Delivery team charter to ensure consistent coaching and accountability.
Frequency: Weekly or Bi-weekly
Preparation (Manager)
Before the 1:1, review the team member’s recent work, Slack communication, Linear hygiene, and client interactions. Identify 1-2 areas where they excelled (“Hit”) and 1-2 areas where they fell short of the standard (“Miss”). Reference the Good vs Bad Exemplars for their specific role.
1:1 Agenda
1. Check-in & Pulse (5 mins)
- How are you feeling this week? (Green, Yellow, Red)
- What’s top of mind?
2. Standards Review (15 mins)
Focus on specific, observable behaviors related to the 6 core standards.
