Snowflake Monthly Account Stats – Quick Reference
What Is This?
The Monthly Account Stats Package is a lightweight monthly report format for sending progress updates to your Snowflake partner manager (e.g., Connie Morris). It answers three key questions Snowflake partners care about:
- Consumption – How much Snowflake activity are we driving?
- Certifications – How many certifications are we working on / have we received?
- Proof Artifacts – What materials have we sent that Snowflake can circulate with their AEs?
When to Use It
- Frequency: Last Friday of each month (per TEST monthly cadence §6.3)
- Audience: Snowflake partner manager (primary contact: Connie Morris)
- Format: Email or Slack summary with link to full report (stored in vault or shared doc)
How to Use It
Step 1: Copy the Template
- Navigate to
knowledge/sales/partners/Snowflake/monthly-account-stats-template.md - Copy the template to a new file named
monthly-account-stats-YYYY-MM.md(e.g.,monthly-account-stats-2026-04.md) - Store completed monthly reports in
knowledge/sales/partners/Snowflake/monthly-reports/(create folder if needed)
Step 2: Populate Each Section
Use the “How to Populate” guide in the template (Appendix section) for each metric:
Consumption Line
- Source: Snowflake Partner Portal dashboard OR consumption reports from Snowflake AEs
- If data is unavailable: Mark as “TBD – awaiting Snowflake report” and note the status
- Proxy metrics (if needed): Active warehouses, queries run, or qualitative growth notes
Certifications
- Source: Snowflake University completion records, team member tracking spreadsheet
- Action: Update status for each team member (Not Started / In Progress / Completed)
- Include: Snowflake Sales Accreditations, Technical Certifications, Data Engineering Certs, SPN registration
Proof Artifacts
- Source: Sent emails, Slack threads, shared Google Drive folders
- Action: Log every case study, one-pager, playbook, or enablement asset sent to Snowflake
- Include: Date, artifact name, type, recipient(s), and purpose/context
Step 3: Share with Snowflake
- Finalize the report by end of month (last Friday)
- Send to partner manager via email or Slack:
- Subject:
Brainforge x Snowflake – Monthly Account Stats [YYYY-MM] - Body: Brief summary + link to full report (Google Doc, Notion, or attached PDF)
- Subject:
- Optional: Schedule a quick 15-min sync call to walk through the report and discuss next steps
Integration with Existing Snowflake Structure
This monthly stats package complements the existing Snowflake partner files:
| File | Purpose | Relationship to Monthly Stats |
|---|---|---|
PARTNER_CONTROL_CENTER.md | Master partner record (strategy, contacts, pipeline) | Source: Pull pipeline updates, active opportunities, and next actions from Control Center into monthly report §4 |
monthly-account-stats-template.md | Monthly reporting template | Use: Generate monthly reports from this template |
monthly-reports/ folder | Archive of completed monthly reports | Store: Save each completed report here (e.g., monthly-account-stats-2026-04.md) |
meetings/ folder | Meeting notes, talking points | Reference: Use meeting notes to inform “Next Steps” and “Open Questions” sections |
engagement/ folder | Rep enablement materials, email drafts | Track: Log these materials in §3 (Proof Artifacts) when sent to Snowflake |
Tips for Success
1. Keep a Running Log
Don’t wait until month-end to populate the report. Keep a running log throughout the month:
- Track consumption data weekly (if available)
- Update certifications as team members progress
- Log artifacts immediately after sending
2. Use “TBD” When Needed
If you don’t have exact consumption numbers, use:
- “TBD – awaiting Snowflake partner dashboard access”
- Proxy metrics (e.g., “3 active Snowflake accounts, up from 2 last month”)
- Qualitative growth notes (e.g., “LMNT increased usage ~30% based on warehouse activity”)
3. Focus on Proof Points
Snowflake partner managers want to see:
- Tangible activity (consumption, new accounts)
- Investment in the partnership (certifications, training)
- Enablement materials (case studies, one-pagers they can share with AEs)
Even if consumption data is “TBD,” showing progress on certifications and artifacts demonstrates commitment.
4. Link to Larger Conversations
Use the monthly report as a forcing function for strategic partner conversations:
- “Here’s our progress this month – can we schedule a call to discuss Q2 co-marketing?”
- “Certifications are in progress – what else do we need to unlock Tier 2 SPN benefits?”
Example Workflow (End of Month)
Date: Last Friday of the month (e.g., 2026-04-25)
Steps:
- Copy template to
monthly-reports/monthly-account-stats-2026-04.md - Populate consumption line:
- Check Snowflake partner portal (if available)
- If not available, note “TBD – following up with Connie for consumption report”
- Add qualitative notes: “LMNT warehouse usage increased; CTA ramping up”
- Update certifications:
- Check with team: Awaish 80% complete, Demilade 60% complete
- Add: Holly completed Sales Accreditation on 2026-04-10
- Log artifacts sent:
- 2026-04-05: LMNT case study sent to Connie
- 2026-04-15: EY FSO one-pager sent to Ravi Nemani
- 2026-04-22: Brainforge partner overview sent to Snowflake AE team
- Pull active opportunities from PARTNER_CONTROL_CENTER.md:

- Send updated CTA case study next month
- Schedule Q2 co-marketing event

Questions?
- What if I don’t have consumption data? Use “TBD” and note the status. Snowflake may grant partner portal access; follow up with your partner manager.
- What if certifications are delayed? Be transparent: “Team is swamped with client delivery; targeting completion by [date].”
- What counts as a “proof artifact”? Anything you send to Snowflake that they can use internally: case studies, one-pagers, playbooks, co-sell materials, webinar decks, etc.
