Subject: Tableau Contract Extension Request & Service Review

Hi Griffin and Devin,

We’re approaching our annual Tableau contract renewal (expires February 23, 2026) and wanted to discuss our path forward.

Current Situation

We’ve been using Tableau Enterprise (Tableau Cloud) with 21 licenses for the past year. While we value the platform’s capabilities, we’ve experienced ongoing service issues that have impacted our team’s productivity:

  • Platform stability issues: Bugs and technical problems requiring frequent support
  • Performance concerns: Slow load times affecting user experience
  • Mobile experience: Poor mobile view functionality limiting accessibility
  • Support responsiveness: Delays in resolving critical issues

These issues have created operational friction and increased our maintenance overhead.

What We Need

1. Contract Extension We need to extend our current contract deadline from February 23 to March 6, 2026 (approximately 2 weeks) to allow us time to complete our internal evaluation and migration planning.

2. Service Improvements To justify continuing with Tableau, we need to see:

  • Improved platform stability and bug resolution
  • Faster response times for support requests
  • Better mobile experience
  • More proactive account management

3. Pricing Consideration Given the service issues we’ve experienced and our evaluation of alternative solutions, we’d like to discuss:

  • Discounts or pricing adjustments for renewal
  • Improved service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Value-add services or training credits

Our Commitment

We’re committed to finding the right BI solution for Eden Health. If Tableau can address these service concerns and provide competitive pricing, we’re open to continuing our partnership. However, we’re also evaluating alternative platforms that may better meet our needs.

Next Steps

Could we schedule a call this week to discuss:

  1. The contract extension (Feb 23 → March 6)
  2. Specific service improvements and SLAs
  3. Renewal pricing options

I’m available for a call this week to work through these items. Please let me know what times work best for you.

Thanks for your partnership, and I look forward to finding a path forward that works for both Eden and Tableau.

Best regards,
Robert Tseng
Eden Health
