Canonical References Library

Purpose: Curated index of external reference documents, frameworks, and methodologies that inform how Brainforge delivers and operates. These are authoritative sources the team should know and draw from — not client deliverables or internal knowledge. Maintained by: Ops / Delivery Lead Last Updated: 2026-03-10

What belongs here

  • Methodology references (agile, delivery, project management frameworks)
  • Industry-standard runbooks or playbooks from other companies that we’ve learned from
  • Certification or training materials relevant to delivery
  • Any “canonical” external document that a team member might want to reference more than once

What does NOT belong here:

  • Internal Brainforge processes → knowledge/operations/ or standards/
  • Client-facing deliverables → client folders or knowledge/clients/{client}/
  • Service-specific tooling docs → knowledge/sales/services/ or knowledge/engineering/

How to add a new reference

  1. Store the document in Google Drive: Brainforge > Resources > Delivery References > {filename}
  2. Create a notes file in this folder: {slug}-notes.md with key concepts, relevance to Brainforge, and a Drive link
  3. Add a row to the index table above

If the document is small enough (< a few pages, text-only), you may store it directly in this folder as a .md file instead.
