00:00:16.000 ⇒ 00:00:17.000 Hello, everyone.
00:00:17.000 ⇒ 00:00:19.000 Hey, how are you feeling?
00:00:19.000 ⇒ 00:00:28.000 Absolutely, bud. What’s this?
00:00:28.000 ⇒ 00:00:34.000 Hey, Casey.
00:00:34.000 ⇒ 00:00:38.000 I bought this headset, but I hate how it looks.
00:00:38.000 ⇒ 00:00:41.000 I’m going to take it off.
00:00:41.000 ⇒ 00:00:42.000 Good.
00:00:42.000 ⇒ 00:00:44.000 Wait, the one you were wearing yesterday was nice, though.
00:00:44.000 ⇒ 00:00:45.000 Hi, guys.
00:00:45.000 ⇒ 00:00:48.000 This is the one I was wearing yesterday, though.
00:00:48.000 ⇒ 00:00:49.000 Really?
00:00:49.000 ⇒ 00:00:57.000 Yeah. I mean, maybe if I wear it like this, I can still use the mic because I think is the mic a quality better than usual?
00:00:57.000 ⇒ 00:01:00.000 I can’t tell the difference.
00:01:00.000 ⇒ 00:01:04.000 And I just should return it. What a waste of money.
00:01:04.000 ⇒ 00:01:06.000 I just like, I spend like
00:01:06.000 ⇒ 00:01:14.000 I don’t know. I just don’t even want to look at the metrics because I use VimCal. I think, Nico, you use vimcal
00:01:14.000 ⇒ 00:01:15.000 Yeah.
00:01:15.000 ⇒ 00:01:19.000 If anyone else, I mean, I don’t know. I hope nobody else has this many meetings.
00:01:19.000 ⇒ 00:01:20.000 Okay.
00:01:20.000 ⇒ 00:01:22.000 But it gives you metrics on like
00:01:22.000 ⇒ 00:01:23.000 How many meetings you’re in and like
00:01:23.000 ⇒ 00:01:24.000 Almost same, yeah.
00:01:24.000 ⇒ 00:01:27.000 And like, are they external, internal?
00:01:27.000 ⇒ 00:01:32.000 And yeah, maybe do four or five hours of meetings a day.
00:01:32.000 ⇒ 00:01:33.000 Okay.
00:01:33.000 ⇒ 00:01:35.000 And so…
00:01:35.000 ⇒ 00:01:39.000 One, I’m not like a very extroverted person
00:01:39.000 ⇒ 00:01:44.000 Like in my life, like I actually, I basically taught myself how to like talk
00:01:44.000 ⇒ 00:01:51.000 much more. And now, I mean, I talk in these meetings and stuff, but talking to the team is fine.
00:01:51.000 ⇒ 00:01:58.000 But yeah, I just talked for so long. So I was like, yeah, maybe just get a better microphone and stuff um
00:01:58.000 ⇒ 00:02:01.000 But I don’t know if it’s not helpful, then whatever.
00:02:01.000 ⇒ 00:02:02.000 kind of ways.
00:02:02.000 ⇒ 00:02:03.000 I mean, we can hear you pretty well.
00:02:03.000 ⇒ 00:02:04.000 Yeah.
00:02:04.000 ⇒ 00:02:07.000 Okay.
00:02:07.000 ⇒ 00:02:10.000 Cool.
00:02:10.000 ⇒ 00:02:13.000 I think everyone’s here.
00:02:13.000 ⇒ 00:02:31.000 I don’t know, Casey, if you can come on video, but I wanted to just mention you briefly. So Casey is joining the team part-time now, hopefully full-time very soon. He’s joining the AI side of the business, working under Miguel.
00:02:31.000 ⇒ 00:02:36.000 Casey worked with Miguel at their last company
00:02:36.000 ⇒ 00:02:38.000 On a whole bunch of stuff.
00:02:38.000 ⇒ 00:02:40.000 an automation related stuff.
00:02:40.000 ⇒ 00:02:46.000 And we’re starting to get more business on that side.
00:02:46.000 ⇒ 00:02:49.000 And yeah, I don’t know, Casey, maybe you want to just give a brief
00:02:49.000 ⇒ 00:02:50.000 introduction, less focused on AI, more focused on you and like what you like to do and who you are and uh yeah
00:02:50.000 ⇒ 00:03:01.000 Mm-hmm.
00:03:01.000 ⇒ 00:03:06.000 Yeah, sure, sure. Yeah, he ruined. So yeah, my name is Casey and
00:03:06.000 ⇒ 00:03:10.000 Yeah, I’m 23 years old and yeah
00:03:10.000 ⇒ 00:03:16.000 Try not to talk about AI. I guess just a little bit
00:03:16.000 ⇒ 00:03:17.000 Yeah, a little bit.
00:03:17.000 ⇒ 00:03:21.000 Is there anything else? I don’t know in my life that’s AI is like 60%, but…
00:03:21.000 ⇒ 00:03:23.000 You just graduated, bro.
00:03:23.000 ⇒ 00:03:24.000 Talk about that. You graduated.
00:03:24.000 ⇒ 00:03:25.000 Okay.
00:03:25.000 ⇒ 00:03:29.000 What is…
00:03:29.000 ⇒ 00:03:37.000 Yeah, I guess, well, for my hobbies, I guess, yeah, well, like a typical nerd, I play a lot of video games um
00:03:37.000 ⇒ 00:03:43.000 But yeah, I also have like an artsy side. Sometimes I do some digital stuff, digital illustration
00:03:43.000 ⇒ 00:03:45.000 And yeah, yeah, I guess that’s about
00:03:45.000 ⇒ 00:03:48.000 As much as I can tell.
00:03:48.000 ⇒ 00:03:49.000 Yeah.
00:03:49.000 ⇒ 00:03:50.000 What?
00:03:50.000 ⇒ 00:03:51.000 or other life, yeah.
00:03:51.000 ⇒ 00:03:53.000 I have three questions. So one…
00:03:53.000 ⇒ 00:03:54.000 What?
00:03:54.000 ⇒ 00:03:57.000 Graduate with.
00:03:57.000 ⇒ 00:03:58.000 Sorry, sorry, I think I got cut off.
00:03:58.000 ⇒ 00:03:59.000 What?
00:03:59.000 ⇒ 00:04:00.000 you’re cutting off with them.
00:04:00.000 ⇒ 00:04:03.000 Okay, hold on one sec.
00:04:03.000 ⇒ 00:04:07.000 What degree did you graduate with?
00:04:07.000 ⇒ 00:04:11.000 Yeah, I think, yeah, it’s a bachelor’s degree for computer science
00:04:11.000 ⇒ 00:04:12.000 Nice.
00:04:12.000 ⇒ 00:04:15.000 And yeah, yeah. And I majored in
00:04:15.000 ⇒ 00:04:17.000 software technology, yeah.
00:04:17.000 ⇒ 00:04:21.000 And then a second question is on the illustration side.
00:04:21.000 ⇒ 00:04:23.000 Yeah, we’re doing a ton of illustration stuff
00:04:23.000 ⇒ 00:04:29.000 I’ll show some of it today, but Anne and Ryan do a ton of work on Canva.
00:04:29.000 ⇒ 00:04:35.000 And Figma and a bunch of stuff. We’re also using AI for a lot of illustration stuff.
00:04:35.000 ⇒ 00:04:39.000 So if you want to help out and do stuff there, more than happy.
00:04:39.000 ⇒ 00:04:43.000 And then the last thing is like, I was going to ask miguel
00:04:43.000 ⇒ 00:04:49.000 What was your initial interaction with Casey and like you could talk about Casey and why uh
00:04:49.000 ⇒ 00:04:52.000 why you wanted to continue working with him.
00:04:52.000 ⇒ 00:04:55.000 Is that a question for me or for Casey?
00:04:55.000 ⇒ 00:04:56.000 For you, for you.
00:04:56.000 ⇒ 00:05:13.000 Okay. Yeah, because like in the previous company, right, Casey was basically, because we had like four or five, I had basically I was the manager there. I had like four or five people under me, right? And Casey was basically one of the few people that can do AI stuff and can actually code.
00:05:13.000 ⇒ 00:05:18.000 So I was like, yeah, he’s the one I want to bring over. I want to continue working with.
00:05:18.000 ⇒ 00:05:22.000 And yeah, it was actually I play a lot of games with Casey right
00:05:22.000 ⇒ 00:05:27.000 at least before I transferred here, but right now we’re also busy.
00:05:27.000 ⇒ 00:05:36.000 So no time to play. But yeah, if anyone plays, you know, Space Marines or Helldivers, yeah, we do it sometimes.
00:05:36.000 ⇒ 00:05:38.000 Nice.
00:05:38.000 ⇒ 00:05:43.000 And he’s a very talented guy. He graduated from one of like the biggest schools in the Philippines.
00:05:43.000 ⇒ 00:05:44.000 Hell yeah, what?
00:05:44.000 ⇒ 00:05:48.000 Because you guys have like the Ivy League, right? We have like the big four, I think he graduated in one of those.
00:05:48.000 ⇒ 00:05:51.000 What’s the name of the school?
00:05:51.000 ⇒ 00:05:55.000 De La Salle University.
00:05:55.000 ⇒ 00:06:00.000 Wow.
00:06:00.000 ⇒ 00:06:02.000 That’s an expensive score.
00:06:02.000 ⇒ 00:06:06.000 Yeah, that’s a very famous school here, Otam and Dean.
00:06:06.000 ⇒ 00:06:07.000 Yeah.
00:06:07.000 ⇒ 00:06:08.000 Okay, okay, great.
00:06:08.000 ⇒ 00:06:09.000 Yeah.
00:06:09.000 ⇒ 00:06:13.000 Congrats, dude. That’s awesome. I mean, the one thing I will say is
00:06:13.000 ⇒ 00:06:20.000 I don’t know if, and I mean, this may be the first time I’ve actually asked anybody what their degree is in.
00:06:20.000 ⇒ 00:06:21.000 Oh, yeah.
00:06:21.000 ⇒ 00:06:24.000 Because personally, I will say for the company and for interviews
00:06:24.000 ⇒ 00:06:26.000 I don’t care at all.
00:06:26.000 ⇒ 00:06:30.000 what background you’re from, degree, anything.
00:06:30.000 ⇒ 00:06:41.000 But I will say I studied computer engineering, so that’s whatever. But we work in data, we work in AI, and I think I can speak for the most of the people here where you learn this
00:06:41.000 ⇒ 00:06:45.000 In a weird way, like I learned all the data stuff
00:06:45.000 ⇒ 00:06:48.000 I basically learned it in the two weeks before my interview.
00:06:48.000 ⇒ 00:06:52.000 And that’s because that’s because
00:06:52.000 ⇒ 00:07:05.000 And as some of you know Brian. Brian is who I actually first interviewed with for my first job outside of college. And then he basically said, you clearly don’t know anything about data, but I like your personality.
00:07:05.000 ⇒ 00:07:11.000 Why don’t you just, you just need to study and then I’ll move you to the next round of the interview.
00:07:11.000 ⇒ 00:07:17.000 So I just studied for like two weeks. I went to New York. I studied in like a hotel for like
00:07:17.000 ⇒ 00:07:27.000 just like I studied at school and then I went to New York, studied for like two days straight and then just like winged the interview and got it. But everybody, I feel like learns
00:07:27.000 ⇒ 00:07:30.000 a lot of this stuff on the job, especially the AI stuff.
00:07:30.000 ⇒ 00:07:31.000 Yeah.
00:07:31.000 ⇒ 00:07:36.000 And so, but I just love learning about where everybody’s like background is from and
00:07:36.000 ⇒ 00:07:40.000 Again, it’s nice because I think we all have backgrounds from school, but there’s also interests
00:07:40.000 ⇒ 00:07:52.000 Whether that’s art, whether that’s more computer science, like some people are more on the creative side and they want to get more technical. Some people are on the marketing side. They want to get more technical. Some people are on the technical side, they want to get
00:07:52.000 ⇒ 00:08:02.000 more artsier marketing. And that’s like kind of where I am. And so I think a lot of the AI tools we’re using across the company, everybody can share and
00:08:02.000 ⇒ 00:08:04.000 And learn from each other so
00:08:04.000 ⇒ 00:08:06.000 That’s great. Well, welcome to the team, Casey. I’m really happy.
00:08:06.000 ⇒ 00:08:08.000 I mean, just look at Raya, no?
00:08:08.000 ⇒ 00:08:09.000 Yeah.
00:08:09.000 ⇒ 00:08:10.000 He’s already doing a lot of AI stuff and he’s on the content.
00:08:10.000 ⇒ 00:08:23.000 No, everybody. I mean, yeah, Luke, you’re doing stuff right on the content side is going to soon have to like, I’m trying to make sure that he doesn’t get too interested in the AI stuff because then I’m going to have, we’re going to have to find a new content person.
00:08:23.000 ⇒ 00:08:29.000 He’s going to start working on the AI business. But no, I mean for
00:08:29.000 ⇒ 00:08:35.000 I think that’s a clear example of how no matter where you are in this and BrainForge.
00:08:35.000 ⇒ 00:08:40.000 you have an ability to use AI for your job. And that’s one of the things that
00:08:40.000 ⇒ 00:08:45.000 You know, I wrote down when we first um
00:08:45.000 ⇒ 00:08:48.000 even started the company is talking about
00:08:48.000 ⇒ 00:08:57.000 like I had this vision of, you know, we were going to do data stuff and maybe we do AI stuff as well. But
00:08:57.000 ⇒ 00:09:03.000 I also wanted to try to automate a lot of the business. And one thing that I’ll actually
00:09:03.000 ⇒ 00:09:06.000 Maybe I’ll flash up because I don’t think people have um
00:09:06.000 ⇒ 00:09:11.000 seen this, but I wrote this in set i wrote this almost one year ago
00:09:11.000 ⇒ 00:09:16.000 And this is to give you a sense of like what my organization was like
00:09:16.000 ⇒ 00:09:23.000 Back then. But I, yeah, I don’t know. The last time there was revision on this, let’s see
00:09:23.000 ⇒ 00:09:26.000 Yeah, I wrote it in August.
00:09:26.000 ⇒ 00:09:32.000 But this is basically what I thought was one, there’s a concept like everybody eats
00:09:32.000 ⇒ 00:09:38.000 Which means, I don’t know, in the US, that means just like everybody wins like
00:09:38.000 ⇒ 00:09:47.000 If the team wins, everybody wins. So I really think a lot about that. Just because you’re not on the engineering side doesn’t mean you don’t benefit from the wins.
00:09:47.000 ⇒ 00:09:54.000 Just because you’re on the engineering side doesn’t mean you don’t benefit from the wins on the marketing side. So it’s one organization. The second thing is like increased prices.
00:09:54.000 ⇒ 00:09:59.000 And that’s more of a business concept, but increased prices and work with more interesting
00:09:59.000 ⇒ 00:10:05.000 and impactful clients over time. The second thing is work, deliver, and communicate like a massive agency.
00:10:05.000 ⇒ 00:10:22.000 That’s what I think we’re starting to deliver on that that kind of vision, one, on the design side, if you look at our socials, if you now look at our brand new headers, if you look at the website, it looks like we have a full design team, a full content team.
00:10:22.000 ⇒ 00:10:32.000 like a lot of people. And I not only say that from my perspective, but, and I look at a lot of companies every day, people are messaging me asking like, how are you guys doing this?
00:10:32.000 ⇒ 00:10:39.000 And so we’re starting to get really close to that. In addition, on the sales and outbound side, scaling email, scaling LinkedIn.
00:10:39.000 ⇒ 00:10:49.000 All of that stuff shows that we can do a lot with less. And I want us to compete with these big companies. If anyone has any interest in
00:10:49.000 ⇒ 00:10:52.000 you know the best design agencies which
00:10:52.000 ⇒ 00:10:59.000 I think we’re kind of like the people that crafted this sort of part of the market. If you look up a company like Ogilvy or Pentagram.
00:10:59.000 ⇒ 00:11:03.000 These are like the number one creative agencies in the world.
00:11:03.000 ⇒ 00:11:06.000 And they have a lot of great history behind them.
00:11:06.000 ⇒ 00:11:10.000 And their dedication to their clients and the care they have in their work
00:11:10.000 ⇒ 00:11:16.000 is something that we’re going to adopt. And so from the beginning, just because we’re small doesn’t mean we
00:11:16.000 ⇒ 00:11:23.000 have to come across like we’re small, you know? I think that’s all that’s always like a kind of a lead a mentality for folks is that
00:11:23.000 ⇒ 00:11:31.000 They say, oh, my God, I wish I had, if I had 100 people, I could be like them. If I had 100 people, we could totally do that. We don’t have 100 people.
00:11:31.000 ⇒ 00:11:38.000 But our goal is to still be like them. And so we find a way to make that happen. The fourth thing, which I think
00:11:38.000 ⇒ 00:11:43.000 we’re doing sometimes, but I think over time we’ll find a way to make it’s like find a way to give back
00:11:43.000 ⇒ 00:11:46.000 I think this can be like
00:11:46.000 ⇒ 00:11:50.000 philanthropic, like we find a way to have some of our work
00:11:50.000 ⇒ 00:11:53.000 improve the world or the people around us.
00:11:53.000 ⇒ 00:11:56.000 But also, I think the other thing that we do and I try to do is
00:11:56.000 ⇒ 00:12:01.000 do favors for people. There’s a lot of people who helped our company early on
00:12:01.000 ⇒ 00:12:08.000 Whether it’s like, for example, we worked with my friend Ivana on a lot of the designs early on
00:12:08.000 ⇒ 00:12:30.000 We have some friends that are helping us on sales, on marketing, just people who are giving up their time, not charging anything and helping us. And that’s made a huge impact. And so similarly, I want us to find ways to give back to people, right? So this isn’t a mentality of like, oh, someone asked us for something and every time we have to charge or
00:12:30.000 ⇒ 00:12:34.000 Before we do anything, we have to say like, what’s the money situation
00:12:34.000 ⇒ 00:12:39.000 The one thing I learned is if you just give somehow like
00:12:39.000 ⇒ 00:12:44.000 things will come back around to us, you know, and so as everyone here is part of the organization.
00:12:44.000 ⇒ 00:12:49.000 And as we start to do more work, there will be opportunities where sometimes maybe people can’t afford us
00:12:49.000 ⇒ 00:13:05.000 or they can’t afford us today, or there’s people in your personal life that just need some help. I want to find ways to kind of give back and then also even philanthropically, we don’t have any money for this today, but I think later down the line, we’ll find ways to donate and do more stuff.
00:13:05.000 ⇒ 00:13:06.000 The fifth and six things are just like
00:13:06.000 ⇒ 00:13:09.000 Can we deliver demos in days?
00:13:09.000 ⇒ 00:13:14.000 A lot of companies do demos in weeks and months. So for me, it was like, can we do that in a day?
00:13:14.000 ⇒ 00:13:23.000 And then develop on world-class technology. So we are using the cutting edge technology. I just had a call with
00:13:23.000 ⇒ 00:13:28.000 last week with this company, like, has everyone heard about like
00:13:28.000 ⇒ 00:13:31.000 Bessemer Ventures, they’re like a huge
00:13:31.000 ⇒ 00:13:34.000 US-based um
00:13:34.000 ⇒ 00:13:35.000 like VC companies.
00:13:35.000 ⇒ 00:13:37.000 venture capitalist.
00:13:37.000 ⇒ 00:13:38.000 Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:13:38.000 ⇒ 00:13:42.000 Yeah, like they’ve invested in like, they’ve invested in Anthropic like
00:13:42.000 ⇒ 00:13:52.000 all these companies, they were like early investors in. I had a call with one of their people yesterday and they saw me tweet something about relevance AI and they wanted to talk and
00:13:52.000 ⇒ 00:13:57.000 I knew more than she did about the AI agent space.
00:13:57.000 ⇒ 00:14:02.000 And so that’s for me, it proved not something like, oh my god i’m
00:14:02.000 ⇒ 00:14:09.000 we’re the best. It’s actually that while we are on the edge of technology on the AI side and on the data side.
00:14:09.000 ⇒ 00:14:14.000 So one thing I will say there is like across all of these things
00:14:14.000 ⇒ 00:14:18.000 This is vision that I set out for the company, but this becomes part of everybody’s
00:14:18.000 ⇒ 00:14:22.000 you know mo on how they operate in their day to day
00:14:22.000 ⇒ 00:14:26.000 And so everybody can collaborate on this and add more stuff.
00:14:26.000 ⇒ 00:14:28.000 The last two things are
00:14:28.000 ⇒ 00:14:36.000 automate 50% of internal process, right? And this is why actually Miguel came on originally. We have a huge wiki of all of our processes and
00:14:36.000 ⇒ 00:14:41.000 I basically was like, the only way we’re going to be able to
00:14:41.000 ⇒ 00:14:50.000 confidently sell AI as if we’re using AI internally and we’re automating stuff internally. So our goal is automate 50% of our stuff and then also
00:14:50.000 ⇒ 00:14:56.000 For me personally, this is the most I’ve worked consistently in my life.
00:14:56.000 ⇒ 00:15:01.000 And so one of the things for me is like work doesn’t have to be a place where
00:15:01.000 ⇒ 00:15:06.000 We are always working like 12 hours. It’s crazy. There’s a lot of companies where
00:15:06.000 ⇒ 00:15:10.000 that’s their culture. And it’s almost like a culture of like urgency but
00:15:10.000 ⇒ 00:15:13.000 not a culture of execution they’re just like
00:15:13.000 ⇒ 00:15:18.000 urgent just to be urgent like everybody’s pissed off and like where is this? Where is this
00:15:18.000 ⇒ 00:15:24.000 For me, actually, the goal is like working less over time. And this is also work that’s like.
00:15:24.000 ⇒ 00:15:30.000 A lot of the time that’s helped me for the company is when I’ve been able to step back and have long periods of time to think and work on
00:15:30.000 ⇒ 00:15:40.000 work on like deep work. And so this doesn’t mean like, okay, we go from working eight hours a day to working two hours a day, but I think there’s something here which is more about
00:15:40.000 ⇒ 00:15:44.000 everybody getting to work on a few priorities.
00:15:44.000 ⇒ 00:15:53.000 spending more time there and then relying on each other, relying on systems to take on like the boring stuff, which is like updates, updating docs.
00:15:53.000 ⇒ 00:15:58.000 And then for me, there’s like, you know, it’s just like responding to emails, all this sort of stuff
00:15:58.000 ⇒ 00:16:02.000 But yeah, I know I took some time, but I just wanted to
00:16:02.000 ⇒ 00:16:06.000 kind of share this. Any questions or thoughts
00:16:06.000 ⇒ 00:16:16.000 on this i don’t know. I think some people have seen this before, but
00:16:16.000 ⇒ 00:16:17.000 Cool.
00:16:17.000 ⇒ 00:16:19.000 The supercomputer.
00:16:19.000 ⇒ 00:16:21.000 Yeah, go ahead.
00:16:21.000 ⇒ 00:16:28.000 I thought, yeah, I think particularly so far. It’s the first time I saw that.
00:16:28.000 ⇒ 00:16:34.000 I’ve already seen it and it is really interesting to see it again because
00:16:34.000 ⇒ 00:16:37.000 you can actually see the progress on each of those
00:16:37.000 ⇒ 00:16:42.000 like bullets and how we are like really working towards that
00:16:42.000 ⇒ 00:16:45.000 So yeah, really nice and i’m also learning a lot
00:16:45.000 ⇒ 00:16:51.000 When you were talking about learning, it’s not just AI and learning a lot about data
00:16:51.000 ⇒ 00:16:53.000 the data stuff.
00:16:53.000 ⇒ 00:17:01.000 I have a degree in business economics, so nothing related to software or data, but I’ve been working around
00:17:01.000 ⇒ 00:17:04.000 software and these kind of stuff so
00:17:04.000 ⇒ 00:17:08.000 Yeah, I’m always learning. So it’s really interesting to see all of that.
00:17:08.000 ⇒ 00:17:09.000 are now leveraging ai
00:17:09.000 ⇒ 00:17:10.000 No.
00:17:10.000 ⇒ 00:17:14.000 into the ecosystem of everything is kind of really, really cool
00:17:14.000 ⇒ 00:17:17.000 And I think we are kind of
00:17:17.000 ⇒ 00:17:20.000 leaders in what we are trying to do here.
00:17:20.000 ⇒ 00:17:22.000 Yeah, 100%.
00:17:22.000 ⇒ 00:17:23.000 Yeah.
00:17:23.000 ⇒ 00:17:27.000 Yeah, I’ve seen that as well. That was like one of the
00:17:27.000 ⇒ 00:17:30.000 First things that showed me when i
00:17:30.000 ⇒ 00:17:31.000 I was hired um like hired
00:17:31.000 ⇒ 00:17:34.000 Yeah.
00:17:34.000 ⇒ 00:17:38.000 So yeah, and that was also like what got me into like
00:17:38.000 ⇒ 00:17:41.000 Because I agreed with all of the points there.
00:17:41.000 ⇒ 00:17:45.000 And I really like um
00:17:45.000 ⇒ 00:17:48.000 it was like not all companies
00:17:48.000 ⇒ 00:17:50.000 like goals and stuff you really agree on
00:17:50.000 ⇒ 00:17:51.000 Yeah.
00:17:51.000 ⇒ 00:17:56.000 And that was like one of the things that made me like, yeah, I think brain fort should be
00:17:56.000 ⇒ 00:18:01.000 really a great company to be in because everything like aligns with what I also want to
00:18:01.000 ⇒ 00:18:04.000 be like the goals, my goals and stuff like that so yeah
00:18:04.000 ⇒ 00:18:06.000 Pretty cool.
00:18:06.000 ⇒ 00:18:07.000 Yeah, but it’s what you’re saying.
00:18:07.000 ⇒ 00:18:08.000 And it’s also genuine, no?
00:18:08.000 ⇒ 00:18:16.000 Yeah, they were goals at like a year ago and now it’s not they are no more goals. They are like ways of doing things right
00:18:16.000 ⇒ 00:18:24.000 We’ve accomplished that and I think that’s great.
00:18:24.000 ⇒ 00:18:25.000 Tony Miguel, what were you saying?
00:18:25.000 ⇒ 00:18:30.000 Yeah, and it’s the first time I’m seeing it right but
00:18:30.000 ⇒ 00:18:35.000 Normally, I know Casey, we saw like the goals from our previous company that we worked with it’s like
00:18:35.000 ⇒ 00:18:40.000 You know those mission and vision type of goals where it’s like a school type
00:18:40.000 ⇒ 00:18:44.000 And now seeing this, it’s like, I think it’s a bit more genuine
00:18:44.000 ⇒ 00:18:48.000 I knew I wanted to work for the company long term when
00:18:48.000 ⇒ 00:18:51.000 I think I haven’t mentioned this actually, Utah.
00:18:51.000 ⇒ 00:18:57.000 Remember that idea you had where we could get clients from scraping, what do you call this?
00:18:57.000 ⇒ 00:18:58.000 Indeed. Yeah.
00:18:58.000 ⇒ 00:19:08.000 Job postings i was like, that’s like probably one of the most brilliant ideas I ever heard. So I was like, I know I’m working with like brilliant people here. So I was like, yeah.
00:19:08.000 ⇒ 00:19:14.000 this is sort of like this is you know great so yeah
00:19:14.000 ⇒ 00:19:16.000 I appreciate that.
00:19:16.000 ⇒ 00:19:22.000 Yep. I just want to add something, guys, if you wouldn’t mind so
00:19:22.000 ⇒ 00:19:24.000 For me, uh, uh, I think
00:19:24.000 ⇒ 00:19:28.000 Put them really has a clear vision of
00:19:28.000 ⇒ 00:19:31.000 what the company
00:19:31.000 ⇒ 00:19:34.000 you know.
00:19:34.000 ⇒ 00:19:39.000 needs to achieve, which is a good thing because given that he
00:19:39.000 ⇒ 00:19:42.000 you know he wrote this like a year ago
00:19:42.000 ⇒ 00:19:49.000 You know, there’s already a plan for the company and for all of us. So I think that’s a good thing
00:19:49.000 ⇒ 00:19:54.000 And I’ve attended hundreds of client calls and I have never seen anything like this like
00:19:54.000 ⇒ 00:20:02.000 You know, I can see that you’re really building a good team culture and I’m really learning a lot from it so
00:20:02.000 ⇒ 00:20:06.000 Yeah, I think that we are in the right lap.
00:20:06.000 ⇒ 00:20:10.000 No, that makes me really, really happy. And, you know, I think um
00:20:10.000 ⇒ 00:20:15.000 From when I started the company to now, one of the things that’s been important for me is to
00:20:15.000 ⇒ 00:20:20.000 Make sure that everybody is not only aligned with this but
00:20:20.000 ⇒ 00:20:23.000 we’re not going to hit these things every single day
00:20:23.000 ⇒ 00:20:26.000 life and this is like a work in progress
00:20:26.000 ⇒ 00:20:34.000 But I agree with Nico. I haven’t looked at this in a while either, but I do think about these things every day and we’re starting to do a lot of this.
00:20:34.000 ⇒ 00:20:36.000 But also, like, again.
00:20:36.000 ⇒ 00:20:40.000 I have worked for a lot of companies
00:20:40.000 ⇒ 00:20:45.000 with mission statements and vision boards and talking points.
00:20:45.000 ⇒ 00:20:48.000 And you guys know me like i
00:20:48.000 ⇒ 00:20:53.000 um like i just have no interest in any of that that’s not actionable
00:20:53.000 ⇒ 00:20:59.000 I also have no interest in what typically happens in companies and corporations where
00:20:59.000 ⇒ 00:21:02.000 you get business people who
00:21:02.000 ⇒ 00:21:06.000 like hide behind words and hide behind
00:21:06.000 ⇒ 00:21:10.000 being not specific because
00:21:10.000 ⇒ 00:21:13.000 there’s ambiguity. I think it’s okay for us to say
00:21:13.000 ⇒ 00:21:21.000 there’s an issue or we’re ambiguous, right? There’s some things that I don’t know right now what’s going to happen, but there are things that I do know that
00:21:21.000 ⇒ 00:21:25.000 we can all agree that we want to deliver demos in days.
00:21:25.000 ⇒ 00:21:29.000 That’s not controversial. I think a lot of times in companies.
00:21:29.000 ⇒ 00:21:32.000 people don’t want to sign up for hard things.
00:21:32.000 ⇒ 00:21:35.000 Because they’re like, I don’t want to take this on or
00:21:35.000 ⇒ 00:21:37.000 I don’t want to step on people’s toes.
00:21:37.000 ⇒ 00:21:39.000 This will become harder and harder as we grow.
00:21:39.000 ⇒ 00:21:45.000 But the nice thing is I think we’re building like a very direct culture. I know I always ask
00:21:45.000 ⇒ 00:21:48.000 everybody for feedback and um
00:21:48.000 ⇒ 00:21:56.000 That’s my goal is that this becomes something that we can all look and in our day when we make decisions, you look to this list and you say like.
00:21:56.000 ⇒ 00:22:09.000 does this line up with this list basically? And that’s how we’re going to scale is from shared principles. If everybody has a different idea about how the company does things, it makes it hard because this is now all of our company.
00:22:09.000 ⇒ 00:22:13.000 So the nice thing is we have something that grounds, but also again
00:22:13.000 ⇒ 00:22:24.000 I’ve always said this is like our product at BrainForge is our people. We use the different tools for sure, but our ability to
00:22:24.000 ⇒ 00:22:26.000 keep you guys.
00:22:26.000 ⇒ 00:22:31.000 together and then also get the next best person like
00:22:31.000 ⇒ 00:22:37.000 For us, for me to go get someone like as smart as Casey, as smart as Miguel, as smart as Ryan.
00:22:37.000 ⇒ 00:22:44.000 get someone like Erickson on board, right? Our goal should be that the next person we hire to be smarter than all of us.
00:22:44.000 ⇒ 00:22:49.000 And that’s the only way this grows. We don’t look to make hires where we bring on people that are
00:22:49.000 ⇒ 00:22:56.000 that like are less smart or less empathetic or less ethical, we want to raise the bar every time
00:22:56.000 ⇒ 00:23:01.000 And so, but it takes a lot of lack of ego to get that done, right? Like for me
00:23:01.000 ⇒ 00:23:06.000 A lot of the stuff we’re doing now, I have maybe five minutes here and there to be like.
00:23:06.000 ⇒ 00:23:15.000 Okay, I kind of get what’s going on. Go ahead. But I also, I know that we’ve brought on a great team of smart people who in their individual domain are so talented
00:23:15.000 ⇒ 00:23:19.000 And our goal for recruiting, and I know we’re doing some of that, is really to look for people who
00:23:19.000 ⇒ 00:23:27.000 bring an energy, who bring a drive, and then also are smarter than all of us.
00:23:27.000 ⇒ 00:23:37.000 And then Daryl can kind of carry the torch in their arena. So I’m really excited for that. I know we just have a few minutes left. So I wanted to talk about, let me just run through
00:23:37.000 ⇒ 00:23:41.000 clients right now. And then I also want to talk about some stuff on the
00:23:41.000 ⇒ 00:23:51.000 design and marketing side. So on the client side, one, we are currently active. We close out the work with real this month
00:23:51.000 ⇒ 00:24:00.000 So that was a lot of stuff on Ryan on your plate and Nico. We’ll see if we get another thing from them.
00:24:00.000 ⇒ 00:24:12.000 Next month, we’re doing well on Javi Coffee. I know, Ryan, you’re also copying on there. And I think you guys, you and Nico talked about taking that over.
00:24:12.000 ⇒ 00:24:36.000 In terms of other stuff on data side, we will be restarting work for Stella. I’m going to meet with Robert probably this weekend and kind of get organized on like what the to do’s are. But that’s really great. I’m glad and hopefully they can bring us on as a client. I know things on pool parts have been kind of slow and we’re working, so I’m talking to Dan today, this afternoon, I tried calling him yesterday, so we’re scheduled today.
00:24:36.000 ⇒ 00:24:38.000 And try to get some more stuff.
00:24:38.000 ⇒ 00:24:43.000 juice there. The only thing I’ll call out is when a client slows down.
00:24:43.000 ⇒ 00:24:48.000 I think we should not consider that as like, okay, they’re so happy. Consider that as like
00:24:48.000 ⇒ 00:24:54.000 Are we still making an impact? And so that’s the thing I want to verify is like, what else do they need from us?
00:24:54.000 ⇒ 00:24:58.000 And that’s the things is like, I know we’re meeting with Kim once a week and things like that.
00:24:58.000 ⇒ 00:25:08.000 I want us to basically find out from them what other problems they’re having and how we can continue to support. I think this is a lot, Nico, for you to kind of work with them and figure out.
00:25:08.000 ⇒ 00:25:13.000 But I think, Ryan, your work on real is going to help Javi. It’s already helping pull parts.
00:25:13.000 ⇒ 00:25:16.000 So I’m really excited there.
00:25:16.000 ⇒ 00:25:25.000 And then on the data side, we have a couple of other upcoming things. One, we have a lead from Shark Ninja. If you guys have used the Ninja blenders.
00:25:25.000 ⇒ 00:25:29.000 before or the shark vacuums
00:25:29.000 ⇒ 00:25:31.000 Yeah.
00:25:31.000 ⇒ 00:25:36.000 like they’re like the juice blenders or anything. A friend of mine works in data there and he’s planning on, I have a
00:25:36.000 ⇒ 00:25:39.000 meeting with them scheduled for next week.
00:25:39.000 ⇒ 00:25:41.000 to do data work for them.
00:25:41.000 ⇒ 00:25:47.000 On the AI side, we crushed the work provided Cocoa just waiting on our last piece.
00:25:47.000 ⇒ 00:25:51.000 But we got very good feedback from their team.
00:25:51.000 ⇒ 00:25:53.000 Casey is owning
00:25:53.000 ⇒ 00:25:55.000 um uh
00:25:55.000 ⇒ 00:25:59.000 an automation for a potential partner of ours.
00:25:59.000 ⇒ 00:26:06.000 This involves some type form automation, involves some Zoom automation. So that’s really great. We have
00:26:06.000 ⇒ 00:26:12.000 work on HPI that Miguel is owning, which involves a lot of front end stuff
00:26:12.000 ⇒ 00:26:16.000 We have about a week or two to kind of get that stuff done.
00:26:16.000 ⇒ 00:26:23.000 So Miguel, let me know what you need. Or again, even if we want to bring on more resources.
00:26:23.000 ⇒ 00:26:25.000 Let’s go ahead and do that.
00:26:25.000 ⇒ 00:26:31.000 And then we have a couple of other people that are interested in work.
00:26:31.000 ⇒ 00:26:34.000 But I’ll kind of transition to talking a little bit about the marketing
00:26:34.000 ⇒ 00:26:36.000 And website side
00:26:36.000 ⇒ 00:26:42.000 So on that side, we have the About Us page going live.
00:26:42.000 ⇒ 00:26:47.000 We’ve made great updates to the homepage. The new blog page will be going live.
00:26:47.000 ⇒ 00:26:50.000 I’ll just share.
00:26:50.000 ⇒ 00:26:55.000 I’ll just share a Figma really quickly and because I also, I know Anne’s not on this call but anne
00:26:55.000 ⇒ 00:26:59.000 is like a rock star at designing and
00:26:59.000 ⇒ 00:27:09.000 She’s doing an absolutely unbelievable job at getting these pages done and ready and organized. So this will be our new case study page.
00:27:09.000 ⇒ 00:27:13.000 Again, like very well designed, has everything around
00:27:13.000 ⇒ 00:27:15.000 each of our case studies the impact
00:27:15.000 ⇒ 00:27:20.000 great CTAs. We have our services page as well.
00:27:20.000 ⇒ 00:27:26.000 That’s in progress.
00:27:26.000 ⇒ 00:27:32.000 So these will be for each of our services. So you can expect this to be
00:27:32.000 ⇒ 00:27:37.000 When we do something about analysis and reporting, we’re going to have services around AI,
00:27:37.000 ⇒ 00:27:43.000 Dashboarding. So this will be for people to figure out what are actually our skill sets
00:27:43.000 ⇒ 00:27:45.000 So we have our case studies which is like.
00:27:45.000 ⇒ 00:27:58.000 our success. We have the services, which is like what we do. We’re going to have the industries, which is like, here’s how we tailor our services. And then we’re going to have our blog, which is commentary about the market, commentary about
00:27:58.000 ⇒ 00:28:01.000 commentary about customers
00:28:01.000 ⇒ 00:28:13.000 It’s going to be stories. So we’re starting to kind of go across all fields there. On the about side, this should get published probably early next week. But this is done
00:28:13.000 ⇒ 00:28:16.000 On our About Us page.
00:28:16.000 ⇒ 00:28:21.000 And then the last thing I’ll share is a glossary. So, you know, I’ve been pinging
00:28:21.000 ⇒ 00:28:23.000 Ryan on the content side about
00:28:23.000 ⇒ 00:28:31.000 SEO and stuff. And so we came up with a kind of an interesting idea, which is to how to improve like the amount of landing pages that we have.
00:28:31.000 ⇒ 00:28:45.000 And we’re going to work on a glossary, which basically hopefully should add about like 100 or 50 or 100 new pages that can start to get indexed and start to improve our SEO. So we will have pages here like.
00:28:45.000 ⇒ 00:28:51.000 a glossary on M8N, a glossary on all our tools, data, tools, things like that and
00:28:51.000 ⇒ 00:28:54.000 Again, when people search for
00:28:54.000 ⇒ 00:28:57.000 comparing tools or things like that, I want us to start to rank.
00:28:57.000 ⇒ 00:29:00.000 So we’re doing some great work on the SEO side.
00:29:00.000 ⇒ 00:29:06.000 The other thing I will share is on the outbound
00:29:06.000 ⇒ 00:29:09.000 Marketing side um
00:29:09.000 ⇒ 00:29:13.000 As I mentioned, and I think we’ll probably work on this next week.
00:29:13.000 ⇒ 00:29:16.000 The marketing team is updating
00:29:16.000 ⇒ 00:29:28.000 these metrics. I think I showed this a little bit before, but we’re starting to set goals across all of our different outbound marketing. So the nice thing is I think we’re going to hit like.
00:29:28.000 ⇒ 00:29:32.000 I think we’re going to be really close on our email numbers.
00:29:32.000 ⇒ 00:29:36.000 I need to update our stuff for LinkedIn, but we’re getting really good promotion.
00:29:36.000 ⇒ 00:29:50.000 The thing on there that I’ll ask everybody to do is if you’re open to it, Ryan is going to be sending kind of the things that we post, the company posts on LinkedIn. And maybe Ryan, we could even probably make a Zapier that
00:29:50.000 ⇒ 00:29:54.000 every time a company post goes up, it gets sent to the team channel.
00:29:54.000 ⇒ 00:29:56.000 But the number one thing that I would love
00:29:56.000 ⇒ 00:30:05.000 And I’ll probably ask and kind of semi require if people are open to it, at least in the short term, is if you can like and repost
00:30:05.000 ⇒ 00:30:08.000 and comment on like anything that BrainForge does
00:30:08.000 ⇒ 00:30:11.000 We have our BrainForge company
00:30:11.000 ⇒ 00:30:20.000 account and then we also have each of our individual accounts. The company account is always going to be low in followers because
00:30:20.000 ⇒ 00:30:23.000 Nobody really usually follows company counts.
00:30:23.000 ⇒ 00:30:28.000 But our commentary on top of that and our ability to boost that reach really matters.
00:30:28.000 ⇒ 00:30:34.000 So that’ll be my one ask. And I think hopefully this will just be like two minutes of your time every week.
00:30:34.000 ⇒ 00:30:38.000 And we’ll have that sent to the team channel where you can just like, comment.
00:30:38.000 ⇒ 00:30:45.000 and repost. We are starting to get inbound stuff from LinkedIn, which is huge. I like never thought
00:30:45.000 ⇒ 00:30:49.000 we would see this day. So it’s like amazing
00:30:49.000 ⇒ 00:30:52.000 That paired with our outbound, paired with pay reach.
00:30:52.000 ⇒ 00:30:55.000 And then we’re going to start doing phones next week.
00:30:55.000 ⇒ 00:30:58.000 That’s all kind of like going in a really great direction.
00:30:58.000 ⇒ 00:31:07.000 The last thing that I’ll share is on the newsletter. So I know Ryan has been doing a great job
00:31:07.000 ⇒ 00:31:11.000 on the newsletter and I’ll just share that um
00:31:11.000 ⇒ 00:31:24.000 really quickly. Give me one second. Let me just pull that up.
00:31:24.000 ⇒ 00:31:39.000 Thank you.
00:31:39.000 ⇒ 00:31:42.000 Okay.
00:31:42.000 ⇒ 00:31:46.000 So this is the newsletter.
00:31:46.000 ⇒ 00:31:50.000 We just sent out a thing about VitaCoco.
00:31:50.000 ⇒ 00:31:55.000 And I want to call out a couple of really amazing things. One.
00:31:55.000 ⇒ 00:31:58.000 This was a great team effort between
00:31:58.000 ⇒ 00:32:08.000 Me, I mean, like very little of me, mostly Ryan, Miguel, and Anne. Miguel really led the entire development process on for this client.
00:32:08.000 ⇒ 00:32:10.000 And one of the things that
00:32:10.000 ⇒ 00:32:24.000 we ask is for information. Ryan often needs the technical information about like how to actually craft a story, which a lot of it is within us on the engineering side. So I like how we’re all collaborating now. We provided that
00:32:24.000 ⇒ 00:32:30.000 To Ryan, he worked on a lot of the text. The actual design of a newsletter is looking really, really great.
00:32:30.000 ⇒ 00:32:37.000 We have some improvements, like we’re probably going to add a header image, maybe some summaries. But overall, we talked about
00:32:37.000 ⇒ 00:32:40.000 the problem we solve. The other thing that I really love is
00:32:40.000 ⇒ 00:32:41.000 Ryan’s actually grabbing
00:32:41.000 ⇒ 00:32:46.000 external links that show like
00:32:46.000 ⇒ 00:32:54.000 percentages and actionable data on our impact, whether from the market or from the client themselves, which is great.
00:32:54.000 ⇒ 00:32:57.000 Anne worked on some great visualizations
00:32:57.000 ⇒ 00:33:02.000 like this one, like this. And if you see closely, this is actual vita cocoa
00:33:02.000 ⇒ 00:33:05.000 coconut water cans
00:33:05.000 ⇒ 00:33:07.000 Which is amazing i think like
00:33:07.000 ⇒ 00:33:09.000 I’m someone that sees these small details.
00:33:09.000 ⇒ 00:33:13.000 And so, I don’t know, I love that we were able to do that.
00:33:13.000 ⇒ 00:33:17.000 And so these are really great. We have a great CTA at the bottom.
00:33:17.000 ⇒ 00:33:20.000 And the newsletter is going to evolve from just
00:33:20.000 ⇒ 00:33:28.000 this. So we’re going to have something to talk about whether, and I’ll actually, let me just share that really quick as a last
00:33:28.000 ⇒ 00:33:34.000 kind of point is what are like content schedule is going to be
00:33:34.000 ⇒ 00:33:42.000 One second.
00:33:42.000 ⇒ 00:33:53.000 All right, running very fast here.
00:33:53.000 ⇒ 00:33:56.000 Okay.
00:33:56.000 ⇒ 00:34:01.000 So we’re kind of planning on this, which is like
00:34:01.000 ⇒ 00:34:06.000 couple of varieties of content that we’re going to publish. The goal is something every day.
00:34:06.000 ⇒ 00:34:09.000 I know that sounds like a lot, even to me again like
00:34:09.000 ⇒ 00:34:15.000 It sounds like a lot, but I think we’re going to have a variety of different types of content so things stay fresh.
00:34:15.000 ⇒ 00:34:25.000 On Mondays, we want to do almost like reactions, something to react to. Like this week, we published a reaction to a snowflake report that came out, which basically talked about the state of marketing tools.
00:34:25.000 ⇒ 00:34:40.000 We published our take. I reposted it with some posts. It got like more than a thousand views just in one day. Some people even texted me about it. So that was really great. We’re going to do a blog post every week, which is on something about the market, about our company, things like that.
00:34:40.000 ⇒ 00:34:42.000 We’re going to have a tool review, which is like.
00:34:42.000 ⇒ 00:34:55.000 hey, here’s like how we think about N8N. Here’s how we think about real. Here’s how we think about dbt something about a tool that way also we can call out the tool company in that post and they will post us and like and boost it.
00:34:55.000 ⇒ 00:35:00.000 We’ll try to do two blog posts a week and then we also have case studies and service pages.
00:35:00.000 ⇒ 00:35:07.000 So again, the biggest thing in this game is volume, but I also want to be very careful that we don’t just post
00:35:07.000 ⇒ 00:35:10.000 AI generated content because
00:35:10.000 ⇒ 00:35:19.000 A lot of the stuff that I see people in our space doing is they think that the AI tools are great. They’re like, oh, perfect. Now I can go from like spending
00:35:19.000 ⇒ 00:35:23.000 three hours on one post to spending 20 minutes on 10 posts.
00:35:23.000 ⇒ 00:35:25.000 But that’s the thing. I think that we’re going to have a healthy
00:35:25.000 ⇒ 00:35:32.000 back and forth between me and Ryan on the content side is like, how do we actually get things that are
00:35:32.000 ⇒ 00:35:38.000 actually have meat to them, things that people want to read, not things that are just jargon and like kind of AI generated nonsense.
00:35:38.000 ⇒ 00:35:42.000 And so we’re going to work to refine our brand voice.
00:35:42.000 ⇒ 00:35:47.000 And we’re still using AI for a lot of this, but it’s almost going to get to the point where you can’t tell.
00:35:47.000 ⇒ 00:35:49.000 And that’s exactly what we want to do is like.
00:35:49.000 ⇒ 00:35:53.000 We have our thoughts and our story. We use AI to kind of lengthen
00:35:53.000 ⇒ 00:35:58.000 and make it succinct. And then also just like be very clear and then
00:35:58.000 ⇒ 00:36:01.000 we post it out and again
00:36:01.000 ⇒ 00:36:10.000 This sort of schedule that we have is something that even large companies with full design teams, full content teams are not accomplishing.
00:36:10.000 ⇒ 00:36:13.000 And that’s what I want to be super super
00:36:13.000 ⇒ 00:36:16.000 grateful for and clear on is like, we’re going to be doing this
00:36:16.000 ⇒ 00:36:20.000 with one designer, one content person.
00:36:20.000 ⇒ 00:36:25.000 And then like, yeah, that’s basically it. Like that’s massive
00:36:25.000 ⇒ 00:36:31.000 And so the things that I want to share is that this continues to be a good
00:36:31.000 ⇒ 00:36:34.000 execution of our goal which is like
00:36:34.000 ⇒ 00:36:39.000 do more with less, but also for Ryan and for anybody, if you’re finding yourself like, hey.
00:36:39.000 ⇒ 00:36:49.000 there’s too much going on. I need some resources or I need some help, reach out in the channels or reach out to me and we’ll find ways to kind of put more budget and things behind stuff.
00:36:49.000 ⇒ 00:36:54.000 But I will say I’m super proud of like how far we’ve come
00:36:54.000 ⇒ 00:36:56.000 on the content side.
00:36:56.000 ⇒ 00:37:01.000 just in a month or two. And we have a lot of plans there.
00:37:01.000 ⇒ 00:37:05.000 Yeah, I think that’s kind of like all I have. I know we’re a little bit over.
00:37:05.000 ⇒ 00:37:07.000 Any questions?
00:37:07.000 ⇒ 00:37:11.000 or thoughts there.
00:37:11.000 ⇒ 00:37:13.000 that I can answer.
00:37:13.000 ⇒ 00:37:19.000 Let me know.
00:37:19.000 ⇒ 00:37:23.000 Utah, have you ever considered podcasts?
00:37:23.000 ⇒ 00:37:25.000 Yes. I mean, I…
00:37:25.000 ⇒ 00:37:27.000 I have considered, I mean.
00:37:27.000 ⇒ 00:37:31.000 I’ll tell you, I consider every single thing number one.
00:37:31.000 ⇒ 00:37:37.000 It’s more about can we execute consistently with some actual talking points so
00:37:37.000 ⇒ 00:37:44.000 In terms of podcasts and video, I told Ryan early on in the content side that I want to do TikTok. I want to do reels.
00:37:44.000 ⇒ 00:37:54.000 The problem is you need video content to do that. And so I’m considering ways of doing a podcast. I almost started one with a friend about AI stuff.
00:37:54.000 ⇒ 00:37:59.000 about a year ago, but just ran out of time.
00:37:59.000 ⇒ 00:38:03.000 What I think we will probably start to do is one
00:38:03.000 ⇒ 00:38:11.000 As soon as we get good at this sort of written content, I think the first thing we’ll try to do is basically do an internal sort of podcast.
00:38:11.000 ⇒ 00:38:16.000 Or maybe we interview each other about topics or we have a discussion.
00:38:16.000 ⇒ 00:38:19.000 short, 15, 20 minutes.
00:38:19.000 ⇒ 00:38:24.000 hand that to Ryan. He can clip it up and post it on socials. I don’t know about
00:38:24.000 ⇒ 00:38:31.000 having a podcast where it’s like we talk every week about news or something like that.
00:38:31.000 ⇒ 00:38:39.000 I don’t know. I don’t know how much, I mean, I don’t know. Maybe people want to listen to that. I’m more interested in like getting video content out there about what we have to say.
00:38:39.000 ⇒ 00:38:42.000 Because some people are going to read this text. A lot of people are not.
00:38:42.000 ⇒ 00:38:45.000 The second thesis I have is that
00:38:45.000 ⇒ 00:39:00.000 You know, I know a lot of us, like a lot of people who run these companies in the past have been very old. They’re now aging out. The people that run these companies now are on Instagram, are on TikTok or on Twitter. And that’s where they’re consuming their business news from.
00:39:00.000 ⇒ 00:39:05.000 Before people think that’s only for like social and like influencer stuff
00:39:05.000 ⇒ 00:39:13.000 I think there’s a ton of business content on those platforms now that a lot of the companies who are run by like 56 year olds.
00:39:13.000 ⇒ 00:39:16.000 who are so out of touch, they will never get to those people.
00:39:16.000 ⇒ 00:39:32.000 And I think over time, less and less people are actually reading, frankly. So I want us to evolve into doing more video content and doing it where the people are. TikTok is the number one platform right now. Reels and Instagram is second. We need to be there doing stuff.
00:39:32.000 ⇒ 00:39:45.000 We’re doing stuff great on LinkedIn, on Twitter and things like that. That’s going to continue, but we will find a way to do video at scale. And I think it’s going to start small. We’ll start by just having internal conversations.
00:39:45.000 ⇒ 00:39:52.000 For example, I can call Nico and just say like, hey, tell me about your project management process. We have a 10, 20 minute conversation.
00:39:52.000 ⇒ 00:39:56.000 that we can, and this is the thing, it’s also a concept of repurposing
00:39:56.000 ⇒ 00:40:00.000 We can turn that into a blog. We can turn that into social content.
00:40:00.000 ⇒ 00:40:05.000 Ryan can clip that up for TikTok. We can publish that on Spotify, right?
00:40:05.000 ⇒ 00:40:07.000 that one conversation goes
00:40:07.000 ⇒ 00:40:11.000 It may just get a hundred or a thousand impressions every single way but
00:40:11.000 ⇒ 00:40:14.000 Multiply that by 10, multiply that by every week.
00:40:14.000 ⇒ 00:40:19.000 we start to get the reach. And then that’s how we come across as a big company.
00:40:19.000 ⇒ 00:40:23.000 And so I think probably before the end of the year, we’ll start on something.
00:40:23.000 ⇒ 00:40:28.000 I’m being very careful not to put too much on Ryan’s plate because he has a lot
00:40:28.000 ⇒ 00:40:37.000 going on. He’s somehow keeping up with me on the content side, which I’m very, very surprised because I send something every like two minutes it seems like
00:40:37.000 ⇒ 00:40:42.000 But I want these to be scalable processes. There’s a lot of companies who
00:40:42.000 ⇒ 00:40:46.000 you guys probably know they’ll do one podcast, two podcasts, and then they just stop.
00:40:46.000 ⇒ 00:40:55.000 you know what happened because someone probably got fired or they probably didn’t see any results and they didn’t trust the process or it probably took them 10 hours to edit it and they’re like.
00:40:55.000 ⇒ 00:41:01.000 just dropped it. Before we take anything on, we need to know we’re going to do that for the long term.
00:41:01.000 ⇒ 00:41:02.000 All right, long-winded answer, but…
00:41:02.000 ⇒ 00:41:05.000 Yeah, we’re considering it for sure.
00:41:05.000 ⇒ 00:41:11.000 Okay.
00:41:11.000 ⇒ 00:41:18.000 Anything else?
00:41:18.000 ⇒ 00:41:25.000 Okay, cool. I think I should have some good updates for Monday, but I know it’s late for folks
00:41:25.000 ⇒ 00:41:30.000 And so please get some rice. I don’t know, again, if hopefully everybody’s okay with the storm. I know, Ryan, you said you had some like
00:41:30.000 ⇒ 00:41:34.000 flooding and stuff in your apartment, hopefully things are okay
00:41:34.000 ⇒ 00:41:57.000 Yeah, it has. Well, it’s good that in our compound it’s really safe, but outside it’s really chaotic. But the good side is the fish is cheap today. So yeah, I have like a good
00:41:57.000 ⇒ 00:42:00.000 um like ton of protein for a whole week right now.
00:42:00.000 ⇒ 00:42:07.000 Nice.
00:42:07.000 ⇒ 00:42:15.000 Cool. Great. Okay. That’s all I had. Anyone else before we log off?
00:42:15.000 ⇒ 00:42:16.000 No, I think is it clear?
00:42:16.000 ⇒ 00:42:19.000 No, nothing else. Yeah.
00:42:19.000 ⇒ 00:42:20.000 as well.
00:42:20.000 ⇒ 00:42:21.000 Okay. All right, guys. Thanks for
00:42:21.000 ⇒ 00:42:22.000 Thanks, guys.
00:42:22.000 ⇒ 00:42:23.000 Okay. Thanks, everyone. Have a good day.
00:42:23.000 ⇒ 00:42:24.000 Thanks for joining and
00:42:24.000 ⇒ 00:42:25.000 Thank you.
00:42:25.000 ⇒ 00:42:26.000 Have a great weekend.
00:42:26.000 ⇒ 00:42:27.000 Have a nice rest.
00:42:27.000 ⇒ 00:42:28.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:42:28.000 ⇒ 00:42:29.000 Yeah, have a great weekend.
00:42:29.000 ⇒ 00:42:30.000 Thanks, everyone.
00:42:30.000 ⇒ 00:42:31.000 Bye-bye.
