00:22:37.000 00:22:46.000 So basically, we basically completely removed it and then in the process as well, we learned how to write ETL directly in Stowflake.

00:22:46.000 00:22:59.000 We like learned a little bit about. Like how to replace how to write like certain rest API things directly and stuff like and I’m basically gonna consider ripping some stuff out of 5 Tran.

00:22:59.000 00:23:07.000 That I’ve not done for the client because it’s so prohibitively expensive. An example of this is like running play video ETL.

00:23:07.000 00:23:11.000 Clavio, ETL, the amount of rows you get is so high. That basically 5 Tran will just take take all your cash for that.

00:23:11.000 00:23:24.000 And that’s a great opportunity for us to basically write that internally. Additionally, when we go to clients, we can now say, hey, we’re gonna be running ETL for you.

00:23:24.000 00:23:32.000 There’s a fee to do that, right? And so now we are able to collect that. And again, all this is enabled because of snowflake.

00:23:32.000 00:23:37.000 And we can now say, hey, we have these data sources available and we can host the ETL.

00:23:37.000 00:23:45.000 It’s gonna cost you 10 bucks a month or. 30 bucks a month just to host that. And again for us it’s maybe very very cheap.

00:23:45.000 00:23:53.000 So again these are all opportunities where like I would love to try using this. And I think it’s really awesome that we were able to do that.

00:23:53.000 00:23:57.000 And it’s so much easier to do. So. That’s one thing.

00:23:57.000 00:24:01.000 And then, yeah, we pushed all the Unis and Walmart ETL changes, so that’s really good.

00:24:01.000 00:24:07.000 I haven’t heard back from Ampla. We sent a pretty big update for them.

00:24:07.000 00:24:16.000 Again, I think it was a really good exercise for us to kind of see. What a client engagement looks like when they’re like, hey, we have these dashboards, like what do you think?

00:24:16.000 00:24:21.000 And we kind of went through a pretty holistic process. I think next time, you know, we’ll be a bit more organized and.

00:24:21.000 00:24:25.000 Like a lot of the work there I think can just be copy paste it into a lot of different things.

00:24:25.000 00:24:30.000 So. Every time we iterate on these tasks that are new to us, they become 50% faster.

00:24:30.000 00:24:53.000 You know, later on. So, That’s the big stuff on. My end any other like feedback or things we wanna discuss if there’s any process changes or I know we haven’t been having too many team meetings, but I think now that we have this.

00:24:53.000 00:25:11.000 Github project. I’ll be trying to like orient our conversations towards that and maybe even daily like in the middle of the day or something we can just chat for like 15 min and just pretty much I basically just wanna talk about there’s blockers and if there’s PRs I need to be reviewed and then that’s the other thing as well as I think a lot of other people can get involved in the

00:25:11.000 00:25:17.000 PR review process. It’s mainly been me. So, and kind of spread the wealth there a little bit.

00:25:17.000 00:25:18.000 So.

00:25:18.000 00:25:33.000 Yeah, I was gonna say like I think we’re starting to like start to swing like we’re like in the next like week or 2 I think the kind of group dynamic and everything is just going to improve.

00:25:33.000 00:25:40.000 Yeah, we’ve got so much done and I’m like so happy. I’m like, this exactly like what I was hoping for.

00:25:40.000 00:25:45.000 I was hoping we could use do some work for clients. I’m like, this exactly like what I was hoping for. I was hoping we could use do some work for clients.

00:25:45.000 00:25:48.000 We could test out a lot of new features on Snowflake and then hopefully start to build our own products internally.

00:25:48.000 00:25:55.000 So I’m like very, very excited to be able to do that because That’s like, that’s like what’s fun about this.

00:25:55.000 00:26:01.000 So.

00:26:01.000 00:26:10.000 Anything else from anyone or anything else we wanted to talk about related to any projects or tasks today?

00:26:10.000 00:26:21.000 The last thing is we all just need the vision pro now.

00:26:21.000 00:26:22.000 Okay.

00:26:22.000 00:26:25.000 Yeah, we’ve been talking to the pool parts guys and they’re like, they’re both using Vision Pro pretty happily and they’re all, we talked to, minutes each about like how cool the Apple vision pro is.

00:26:25.000 00:26:26.000 Okay.

00:26:26.000 00:26:29.000 And basically like sitting in there for 8 HA day.

00:26:29.000 00:26:38.000 Dan was wearing it. Like during the call and he has like an avatar of himself and It’s not.

00:26:38.000 00:26:41.000 How much does it cost in the US?

00:26:41.000 00:26:42.000 It’s like 4G’s.

00:26:42.000 00:26:44.000 Just click.

00:26:44.000 00:26:45.000 Sorry?

00:26:45.000 00:26:47.000 It’s insane. It’s like, it’s like, it’s like, 4 grand.

00:26:47.000 00:26:50.000 It’s like a new laptop.

00:26:50.000 00:26:51.000 It’s more expensive than M. 3.

00:26:51.000 00:26:52.000 Wow.

00:26:52.000 00:27:02.000 Yeah, it’s like it’s a it’s a really nice laptop.

00:27:02.000 00:27:03.000 Hey.

00:27:03.000 00:27:08.000 Yeah, I might wait till the next version. I’m still rocking like an M one air and it’s I have to restart it like every day.

00:27:08.000 00:27:14.000 It’s struggling. I need to upgrade.

00:27:14.000 00:27:15.000 On the

00:27:15.000 00:27:18.000 Dude, I need to upgrade bad. I can’t wait for my next laptop. I’ve been thinking about it for like a year.

00:27:18.000 00:27:19.000 Been spread all the time. Here

00:27:19.000 00:27:25.000 Yeah, I but maybe I’ll you know send you this laptop and you can host You can use it to host our like.

00:27:25.000 00:27:26.000 Yeah.

00:27:26.000 00:27:33.000 You to host our like internal stuff.

00:27:33.000 00:27:34.000 Yeah, I haven’t.

00:27:34.000 00:27:39.000 What do you guys, do you guys, are you guys all on laptops? So you guys have like, the Patrick probably has like a super computer or something.

00:27:46.000 00:27:49.000 It’s still killing it. But no.

00:27:49.000 00:27:52.000 And I’m like, yeah, I’m on a 2014 pro, I think.

00:27:52.000 00:27:53.000 Okay, that’s, yeah, that’s getting there.

00:28:16.000 00:28:20.000 Like it set a 30% battery and then it’s just dead and then it won’t turn on for like, 45 min.
