  • Restructured project organization from phases to business unit approach
    • Wholesale, retail, ecom as main sections
    • Cross-cutting tasks: ingestion/backfill, reporting platform, data infrastructure
  • February goals: close wholesale reporting for Shivani, Madison, Laura
    • Continue handling one-off requests (SKU level meta tags shipped today)
    • Need cross-cutting maintenance task for ongoing requests
  • Data analyst role needed by April
    • Handle requirements gathering from all teams
    • Triage between dashboard updates vs new modeling needs
    • Support BI tool training and adoption
    • Andrew identified as potential candidate with May availability

Data Ingestion & Source Management

  • Current bottleneck: connector builds limiting new ingestion
    • Managing 4 parallel ingestions maximum at any time
    • Need 8 conversations going to maintain pipeline funnel
  • Priority sources blocked/awaiting confirmation:
    • Ecommerce and retail sources pending team decisions
    • Target/Walmart POC connector submitted yesterday
    • Amazon and Walmart ecom next in queue
  • Marketing sources (Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat) more robust
    • 2-4 week buffer for common connectors
    • Retail sources require 4+ week buffer due to complexity

Data Mart Development Status

  • Wholesale mart near completion
    • Weekly summary report cleaned (Robert version)
    • 80% of team requirements installed
    • OKR support integration needed
    • BI dashboard migration planned for March
  • Retail mart in progress
    • Walmart and Target data modeling (4-week budget)
    • More complex than wholesale with additional data sources
  • Ecommerce mart scoped for post-February
    • Shopify modeling week after next
    • Amazon modeling pending sufficient data landing
    • Most complex of three marts, requiring 2 months

Next Steps & Scheduling

  • Shivani in India Feb 26 - Mar 8 (wedding prep, limited availability)
  • Pre-India goals:
    1. Complete retail data mart
    2. Finalize BI tool selection
    3. Scope post-FAB contract requirements
  • Vendor calls scheduled:
    • Snowflake: Feb 11 at 2PM Eastern or Feb 12 at 3PM Eastern
    • Omni demo: Feb 13, 2:30-5PM Eastern window available
  • Sprint priorities for assessment brief:
    1. Brainforge retail data modeling
    2. Continue Amazon ingestion
