Request

Context:
Mapping out path to getting Eden its own Wikipedia page. To meet Wikipedia “notability” standards, need at least six pieces of significant media coverage (full-length profiles focused exclusively on the company).

To land those stories, journalists need to see growth “under the hood.”

Request:
Pull a “wow factor” statistic for press:

  • Example given: “1M orders in CA alone” (placeholder — need actual number)
  • Timeframe: Past 12 months
  • Scope: Any state (or other impressive metric)
  • Requirement: Factually correct, impressive for press

Alternative metrics to consider:

  • Total orders (any impressive milestone)
  • State-specific milestones (CA, NY, TX, etc.)
  • Growth metrics (YoY growth, customer count, etc.)
  • Other “wow factors” related to orders/data

Deliverable

Format:

  • Primary stat: “[X] orders in [State] in past 12 months” (or alternative impressive metric)
  • Backup options: 2-3 alternative stats if primary doesn’t work
  • Data source: BigQuery (Eden data platform)
  • Verification: Confirm number is factually correct

Timeline:

  • ASAP (for PR/media outreach)

Success Criteria

  • Primary stat identified: “[X] orders in [State] in past 12 months” (or alternative impressive metric)
  • Stat is factually correct (verified against BigQuery data)
  • 2-3 backup alternative stats provided (if primary doesn’t work)
  • Data source documented (BigQuery table/query)
  • Stat is “wow factor” suitable for press/media outreach
  • Deliverable shared with PR/Marketing team

Data Sources

  • BigQuery: PROD_MARTS.fact_transactions or PROD_MARTS.order_summary
  • Filters: Past 12 months, state-level breakdown
  • Metrics: Order count, revenue, customer count

Notes

  • Request came via Jonah (Eden stakeholder)
  • Need to balance “wow factor” with factual accuracy
  • Consider multiple options so PR can pick best fit for different journalists
