Eden Omni Stakeholder Training — Hands-on (20–25 min)
Everyone completes Part 1. Viewers do Part 2A. Builders do Part 2B.
What you need
- Omni login
- Access to at least one dashboard
- Builders: Standard access (can create charts/dashboards)
Part 1 (Everyone) — Navigate, filter, export (8–10 min)
1) Open the demo dashboard
Use the one the facilitator shares.
2) Change two filters
- Date range
- One business filter (product / pharmacy / plan / channel)
3) Answer one question
Pick one:
- “What changed vs last week?”
- “Which product/pharmacy is driving the change?”
- “Is this a data issue or a definition/filter issue?”
Write a 1–2 sentence answer.
4) Export/download CSV
Export a relevant table to CSV (or download the data).
If export is missing, note what you tried—this is usually a permission or tile-type constraint.
Part 2A (Viewers) — Turn a snapshot into a workflow (6–8 min)
Goal: replace a screenshot or manual copy/paste with a scheduled delivery.
5) Find deliveries/scheduling
From the dashboard, look for: Share / Deliveries / Schedule / Email / Slack / Alerts (wording varies).
6) Draft a daily delivery
Set up (or define) the delivery:
- Destination: Slack channel or email list
- Format:
- PDF for exec snapshot
- CSV for row-level ops work
- Schedule: weekdays (pick a time)
- Filters: use the same filters from Part 1
Write down:
- recipients
- cadence
- what action it triggers (who does what next)
7) Optional: define an alert
One threshold you’d want:
- SLA % below target
- orders nearing SLA above threshold
- revenue dips below expected range
Part 2B (Builders) — Create a chart and save it (6–8 min)
Goal: create one simple chart off a Topic and save it to a dashboard.
5) Identify the Topic / dataset
Look for which dataset/Topic is powering the chart/table.
6) Create a basic chart
Example pattern:
- Metric: revenue / orders / SLA %
- Group by: product OR pharmacy
- Trend by: day/week
7) Sanity checks (do at least two)
- timeframe includes partial days?
- correct grain (order vs transaction vs customer)?
- status filters are intentional?
8) Save it
Save to a “Training” dashboard (or sandbox dashboard) with a clear name:
[Training] <metric> by <dimension> (last 30 days)
Troubleshooting
- Can’t see dashboards → access/permissions issue
- Can’t create charts → you likely need Standard access
- AI answers look wrong → check timeframe, grain, and Topic definitions/context
