  • Fortune 500 and retail data added as dimension tables
    • Kept separate from registration data (no connection for now)
    • Available for future use if needed
  • Exhibitor data modeling complete
    • New dim_exhibitor_data table created
    • Changes ready in existing PR, awaiting approval
  • Live exhibitor data pipeline migration starting next week
    • Rewriting old AWS pipeline with modern approach
    • Connecting to ExpoCad platform → S3 → Snowflake

ID Stitching Progress

  • Waterfall logic implemented from previous feedback
  • Awaish working on remaining items from last call
  • Canonical company IDs not yet assigned
    • Kyle noted need for CES integration via Okta
    • People IDs will be messy (one per email initially)
    • Company IDs critical for pre-credentialing expansion
  • Pre-credentialing expansion planned (6 weeks out)
    • Opening beyond member companies
    • Form submission → domain-based approval process

Cortex Adoption Dashboard

  • Built comprehensive usage analytics covering:
    • Request patterns and active users
    • Model usage (currently auto-selected)
    • Token consumption and costs
    • Query themes (attendance, membership topics)
    • User cohorts (7-day, 30-day activity)
  • Billing starts April 1st
    • Expected costs very low (~$50/month estimated)
    • Comparable to individual Cursor usage
  • Dashboard includes diagnostic tools
    • Error logging with verbose details
    • Session-related troubleshooting
  • Three PRs ready for review covering:
    • DBT marts for adoption metrics
    • Streamlit dashboard deployment
    • Role management updates

Development Process Improvements

  • Created deployment script for local Streamlit development
    • 30-line script enables local editing → Snowflake deployment
    • Solves manual app creation limitation
    • Includes credentials configuration guidance
  • Setup walkthrough planned for tomorrow’s call
    • Goal: enable all team members to edit dashboards locally
    • Faster iteration cycles vs. Snowflake UI editing

Role Management & Access Control

  • New role structure implemented:
    • role_developer: broad mart staging access
    • role_chat: prod marts + cortex access
    • role_cortex_analyst_user: sidebar access (Snowflake system requirement)
  • Okta integration ready with Ian
    • Default role/warehouse assignment preferred
    • Metadata mapping for teams/titles needed
    • Ian ready to implement when requirements defined
  • GitHub Actions for access verification
    • Automated role validation on PR merges
    • Prevents access disruptions during changes
  • Data share access role needed
    • Kyle/Catherine require member data access for journey work
    • Separate role_data_share_read to be created
